At the heart of each clock are genuine Soviet-era Nixie tubes—cold cathode displays manufactured in the USSR before LEDs became the standard. While LEDs quickly became the “better” technology, they will never replicate the timeless, warm glow of a Nixie tube.
Inside, you’ll find a hand-assembled circuit board powered by a microcontroller running custom firmware, built from the ground up for reliability and precision.
